Love Alison Bechdel’s Graphic Memoirs?

Flavorwire shares “8 Worthy Successors to Alison Bechdel.”

My first thought is that Alison is YOUNG; why would we already be searching for successors for this talented woman who has many books left in her?

But as a lover of her works, Fun Home and Are you My Mother, I realized that this site is addressing the very problem that I face–waiting for Bechdel’s next book to come out. These eight writers work within the same genre of smart graphic nonfiction as Alison and have new books out now that FlavorWire deems worthwhile, great reads.
